5.Project Meeting December 3

Our other German partner Little Giants was in the center of Stuttgart and close to our hotel. We observed the physical circumstances of the Day care center. Here the kids were grouped in different rooms according to their ages. They give bilingual education, German and English. They accept kids from the age of under1 to 6. The parents leave their kids at 7.30 am and take them at 18.30. We listened to a song from the kids and watched a show in a dark room. It was remarkable. At lunch time we had a buffet meal prepared by the parents from different countries. After the lunch we made our first Project meeting. Then, we took a small tour of the city and we bought our train tickets. In the evening we had lunch at “Onkel Otto.

5.Project Meeting December 4

In the morning, we had the Project meeting. After that, we watched the brilliant show of the kids. They presented us the gifts they prepared. We also gave them our gifts. Then we went to an excursion tok the Ludwigs Palace with the 5 and 6 year old kids. After a long way of walk and train travel we arrived to the palace. At this excursion we have realised that the kids were used to long walks and that they were very strong. At the palace the guide showed us around and gave us information. The kids were quiet and well-bevaved during the excursion. We had lunch in the palace garden together with the kids. After a short break for shopping we came back to school. In the evening we had dinner at the Spanish restaurant. Isabel and her colleagues gave us gifts.

5.Project Meeting December 5

After the breakfast we met at the school and set out for Esslingen. In Esslingen we saw an example of the medieval Christmas Market and entertainment. It was an interesting experience for us. We have learned a lot on German culture. The traditional food was delicious, but the weather was rather cold. Here we also watched a medieval style entertainment which was the most preferred part. This Christmas Market was very crowded. We had some free time for shopping. Our partners from Wales left for the airport. We said good bye to them. We went back to our hotel with Edith. We would like to thanks Edith, Isabel, for all her help and friendship.
