We arrived to Cardiff after a long journey. Sandra, Janet and Dawn met the groups with their husbands.
We arrived to our hotels which were half an hour far from the airport. The group from Germany came earlier than us, so they could join the welcome party in The Brynffynon Public House and Restaurant, Llanwonno. Kevin, who accompanied us during our trip, played his guitar and from their photos we have seen that they had fun. At night, Janet, Dawn, Emma, Isabel and Ashley visited us in the Lily& Mia Guest House and we had a little chat.

We went to the Senydd to see Leyton Andrews, the Member of the Welsh Assembly Government representing their area. He kindly greeted us and gave us information about the local government and also answered our questions. We have learned that; in the Senate the decisions that are made can also be voted by the community, the schools can visit here any time available, in front of it the social groups can protest.

At lunch time we had fish&chips in the Cardiff Bay. After lunch we visited the St. Fagan’s Open-air Museum. In this museum they have re-build the old Welsh houses through which we could see the changes in their lifestyle from past till today. We were amazed and appreciated to see how they could protect and display their history.

We had dinner at the Cardiff Castle. We tasted their traditional drink, meard. We enjoyed ourselves with the tasty food and the Celtic music.
