„Butterfly, you little thing“

Linguistic-Skills

In this „circle-game“ the children learn how to pronounce the words correctly.

Furthermore, one intention of this game is to arouse children’s interest in singing, movement and language in general.

Social-Skills

By choosing dancing partners, the children learn how to establish contacts between each other.

During the dance, the children learn to treat others with respect and to show consideration for each other.

Because of dancing together, this game supports the children in developing, enhancing and sustaining a sense of community

Cognitive Skills

The game encourages children to keep the lyrics of the song in their minds through play.

The children learn to sing and to dance at the same time.
